There are large numbers of people who both now and historically have felt it was morally wrong for women to experience sexual pleasure, even heterosexually. Hell I know families that won't let their children watch nature documentaries for that reason. And that situation was not remotely unusual and still is not unusual in the midwest and much of the rest of the US. Literally just because it had to do with his penis. The Roman Catholic Church, still a major force in the western world, believes that masturbation is whole sale wrong. Western society has a HUGE problem with sexuality in general. We have a really big problem in western society with people laughing at things precisely because they are sexual.
